Curiouser and curiouser by o0Moonlight-Sonata0o Curiouser and curiouser by o0Moonlight-Sonata0o
Alice in wonderland seems to be getting awfully popular.

This was a cosplay I did last year for Anime Mid-Atlantic. Unfortunately, I never got any really good pictures. So I decided to have a little mini-photoshoot by myself.
I got some fairly nice pictures, and decided to share one. This happened to be my favorite. There's hardly any photoshop, just a bit of lightening and cropping, I believe.

I adore the eyelashes I have on. They're really interesting. They have longer sections, making them very doll-like. They're very fun to wear. Almost as much as my moth eyelashes, which had little....wings, almost.

Thank you~! And yes, I did. I used a pattern from Joann's and made some slight alterations. :3

Your welcome! The stitching looks perfect! ^.^ -Can't sew in a straight line to save her life- And do you think the pattern would work for a Dorothy dress as well? I'm new at this kind of thing...-Nods-

Beware the cupcake...It's tricky...

Thank you. It's full of imperfections, but, luckily, they aren't too noticeable. DX
And, yes, actually. I used this pattern ( [link] ) for my Alice dress, but, if you use a different fabric, it'll work just the same. :3
It was fairly easy, but there's a crazy amount of gathering. D:
So I'd highly suggest practicing gathering before starting, considering the fact that the skirt, the apron, and the sleeves have to be gathered. It's extremely time consuming and fairly frustrating if you've never had to do it before.

Alright, thanks! I've never even heard of gathering before. XD I hope I can do it by hand...Is that like where you scrunch up the fabric or something? -Feels incredibly stupid-

By the way, is it just me or did you notice how on all the patterns they never continue the peice onto the back? :chew:

Haha, heads up, it's a bitch. And, yeah, it is where you bunch up the fabric. :3

And no, I didn't notice.

Alright, well thanks for the info and the pattern. I think it's really going to help! ^.^ -Stuffs some egg whites in your pocket and flies away on a pink cotton cloud to the neverlands of clowns and...more clowns...-
